I am a Toronto-based makeup artist with over 16 years experience in the wedding, theatre, fashion, film and print industries. My love for makeup started at age 11 when I would sit and draw faces on paper and design their makeup! In High School I started doing theatrical and wedding makeup artistry, and self-taught myself reading every book out there on the subject! After High School I went to The School of Makeup Art (SOMA) in Toronto and received 2 diplomas (Fashion and Beauty Makeup Art and Special Effects Makeup) and 3 certificates (Hair Design, Camouflage Makeup, and Wig Making and Styling). After college I went on to work in the fashion and film industries, as well as doing weddings every year (my true love!). My experience includes dozens and dozens of commercials, TV shows, films, music videos, weddings and photo shoots. As well, I have taught makeup art at the college level.

Simone, thank you so much for the fantastic job you did on everyone's makeup at Daina's wedding this weekend. Why do you need a professional makeup artist for your wedding day? Because your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and will be documented in film and photos so you need to look your absolute best! Using my years of fashion, film and wedding makeup art experience I will help you create your desired wedding day look. I will apply your makeup in a way that lasts all day, as well as teach you techniques and recommend products and tricks you can use. I am a professional makeup artist and because I don't work for anyone I can offer my talents for less AND I will come to you:) I can honestly say i have yet to have a bride that wasn't happy with my art! The first step is to set up a trial, which there is a small fee for. Once you're happy with the trial and you book me that fee from the trial will be deducted from the wedding day cost, therefore making the trial free! I travel all over the GTA and beyond.
